St. James's Place funds under management up 12% in third quarter

  • Tue 22 Oct 2019 07:25

Wealth manager St. James's Place recorded a 12% rise in third-quarter funds under management, owing to market performance and continued net fund inflows.

Funds under management at the end up September amounted to £112.82bn, up from £100.59bn on-year.

Net inflows for the period amounted to £2.11bn, compared to £2.47bn on-year.

'I am pleased to report another good quarter for St. James's Place,' chief executive Andrew Croft said.

'While political and macro-economic uncertainty may affect the pace of some discretionary investment flows from time to time, it has no bearing on the continuing need for holistic, long-term financial planning.'

'Indeed, we see demand for sound, personal and trusted financial advice growing while at the same time the 'advice gap' remains.'
